“I arrived thirteen minutes early and was met not with a welcome, but with a dismissive order to “come back later.” That set the tone.
Throughout the class, the host repeatedly ignored me, cut me off mid-sentence, and treated any contribution as an intrusion. Other participants actually turned to me for advice, but the host made sure to interrupt—rude, condescending, and utterly unnecessary.
Her approach was less about teaching and more about undermining. Contradictory at best, derogative at worst, and consistently dismissive, it made for an environment where curiosity and knowledge weren’t valued.
The so-called “perfume ingredients” provided seemed more appropriate for a toothpaste experiment. For anyone genuinely interested in perfumery, this class is neither informative nor welcoming.
The greatest irony? A class about fragrance that leaves such a bad taste.”
