“Kate warmly opened her home to us and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we arrived. With several participants having different allergies and dietary requirements, she was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, ensuring everyone could enjoy the experience without compromise — and the food was still absolutely delicious.
The class was a fantastic introduction to Asian cooking. I learned a lot, not just about specific dishes, but also practical tips and techniques to help enhance my everyday cooking. We prepared a variety of Asian‑inspired dishes including miso soup, dumplings, spring rolls and meat skewers, all using fresh ingredients — even some herbs picked directly from Kate’s garden, which added a lovely personal touch.
The afternoon was relaxed, fun and very hands‑on. Everyone had the chance to get involved, making it a genuinely interactive and enjoyable experience rather than just watching from the sidelines. I walked away full, inspired, and excited to try the recipes again at home.
