Fran was an excellent teacher; welcoming, easy to chat to and great at explaining how to go about each step of the painting. The pace of the class was relaxed and inclusive allowing for those who took longer to take their time and chatting with those who finished more quickly.
The venue was cosy and comfortable, full of colour and interesting pieces of artwork to look at, all set in her lovely garden. Everything was set up when we arrived including aprons, paints, bushes etc and delicious biscuits so we could get straight to the painting.
I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon and would recommend this class to all. It was a fun and relaxing way to spend a few hours and I would happily attend another of Fran’s classes.”

Fran was bright and cheery, had a great studio set in the beautiful Blue Mountains, gave clear instructions on how to find her and was very welcoming. With no painting experience, we found Fran's class was great. Teaching instructions were clear, help provided when needed and lots of encouragement given along the way. We painted banksias -a fitting subject when surrounded by a bush setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came away with a painting each having surprised ourselves.
