“The aim of my visit was to develop my knowledge, understanding and skills on how to get my Bridesmaids dress fix as I needed the lining of the dress to be connected with the front and back layer of the dress as I did not like the lining been separated as seen in the photo. To save my day, I seeked Mimi for help. Mimi gave me some professional advice on what we could do to make it work and explain the process that would not be too time consuming. She suggested we unpicked the seamed and showed me how to do it before repining the seam of the front abd back layer with the lining and sewing it together. She also demonstrated and showed me how to steamed the seam of the dress with the steamer to even it out. Mimi was able to successfully help me make a clean slit in the bridesmaid dress without the lining showing, which was exactly how I wanted it to be. It was a pleasant working with Mimi, and I would highly recommend her if you would like to learn any new sewing skills as she has high level of textile experienced and is very knowledgeable.”
