“Very relaxed afternoon with like minded others doing their thing at different tables. The studio is filled with light, there was nice background music and a nice hum of chatter. We were a group of 5 girlfriends and had a wonderful afternoon. The teacher was friendly, helpful and relaxed. A lovely vibe.”
“I went here with my friend and the store was so cute. Seeing other people’s artworks for sale and the previous students’ works on display was inspiring. The workers there were really friendly and they were very accomodating. They kept making sure we were okay with our progress and reminding us of their services of free tea or coffee.
My friend and I chose a bowl and espresso + saucer to paint. Aprons and sketchbooks were also provided along with the paint which made it feel more welcoming to experiment and make mistakes.
The original booking was to stay there for 2 hours but we ended up chatting and painting for four. To be honest if my friend didn’t stop me I might of gone for longer to add more details and features.
I recommend this class to anyone wanting to find a creative space to try out new art. It felt more welcoming and manageable to create something I will enjoy and love compared to making pottery by scratch. The pottery you can paint are also all practical so you can use your finished product in multiple ways.”
