“This was a great introduction to making darkroom prints. No experience was needed and the instructor, Dillon, gave us all the info we needed to get into the action without getting caught up on too much theory first. The negatives we printed from were sourced from across time and locations and were legitimately fascinating in their own right but also given their backstories that Dillon was somehow across. The main thing I appreciated was that Dillon did his best to facilitate individual preferences for what attendees wanted to get out of the day and contributed extra suggestions to help make everyone’s paths more rewarding. I would recommend this course not just to people currently shooting analogue film but even those thinking they might want to get into it because this reveals a whole world of possibilities that come after capturing the initial shot on film.”
