“In reflection I observe that the class format for such a teaching exercise must be one of the most "trying" and challenging going around! It's virtually impossible to stop adults from 'talking amongst themselves' whilst trying to deliver important information that may 'make or break' the exercise. The accustics in the room probably don't help that either. So at times it seems impossible to proceed without having to remind everybody to pay attention and stop background talking (annoying for the teacher and for the quieter participants). I also strongly urge the format to allow participants entry at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class (rather than having to 'stand outside on the footpath in the sun/weather'). I really enjoyed the class overall and take my hat off to any teacher able to juggle all the logistics involved in such a class!”
“I attended this halloumi making class on Saturday. The teacher made me feel welcomed and was very warm and kind. This beginners class was easy to follow. The results were delicious. Highly recommended.”
“This was such a brilliant way to spend the afternoon. Great activity for families with older teens / young adults. Teacher was informative and delightful - ensured we all left with delicious halloumi and great memories. Highly recommended.”
“This was a birthday surprise and we had a lovely time, the pace from our teacher was just right and we were served endless bubbles (my glass was never empty) which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you do not drink alcohol, they also provide soft drinks as an alternative which was good as my partner couldn’t drink.
Would recommend to any cheese lovers wanting to start cheese making.”
“I was given the halloumi making class as gift and it was fabulous. Evelyn was a great host and teacher. She made sure everyone was comfortable and at ease with asking questions as she shared her cheese making skills. We all had a fun and productive afternoon and came away all the better for the experience. Thank you. We will be back x”
