“I booked this class because I was tired of trying to learn DIY from experienced family members, only to be told, “It’s faster if I just do it myself,” before I could even get near the tools.
This class was fantastic for a beginner. We were taught how the tools work, best practices for using them, and what to look for when buying our own. There was plenty of one-on-one guidance while actually using the tools, and we even walked away with something we’d made ourselves.
The space was comfortable and welcoming, the instructors were warm and approachable, and the group was friendly and open. I would highly recommend this class to any woman wanting to build confidence in DIY or learn how to tackle small repairs around the home.”

“Had such a lovely time! The instructor, Helen, was great, engaging, informative and supportive. She really gave practical advice even on things we wouldn’t have thought we’d need guidance on. She was incredibly knowledgeable and was was still really patient and gracious even when I stuffed up quite a bit. Great way to meet some other lovely people too.
It was long and a bit intimidating but it was still a supportive and calm space, perfect for pushing yourself and trying something new!
