“Attended the Sat24Jan morning session led by Guy Little. Absolutely loved it. Guy broke down the mechanics of operating our own cameras into very simple processes and procedures to follow when shooting particular scenes. Throughly enjoyed the small group tutoring as we walked the CBD putting theory into practice (& perspective….). Thanks Guy for the instruction and post session follow up. I would recommend this beginners course to anyone needing to get a better grasp of their camera and its functions. ChrisH”
“Guy is an outstanding mentor, and the course structure has an excellent flow, seamlessly moving from theory to practical applications.
What I appreciated most was Guy's ability to spark creativity in all the participants. He encouraged learning through experimentation, embracing mistakes as part of the process, while fostering a truly collaborative environment where participants could inspire and learn from one another.
Highly recommended! My only regret is not taking this course sooner.”
“I attended the beginner photography class and found it to be a solid intro for anyone new to using a camera. The instructor explained the exposure triangle (ISO, aperture, shutter speed) in a way that actually made sense, and there was a good balance between theory and hands-on practice.
The pace was steady and not overwhelming, it’s a great starting point if you're just getting off auto mode and want a practical feel for your camera’s capabilities.”
“Guy was an excellent teacher, he was able to clearly explain photography concepts to the group - and I walked away with a new appreciation for my camera!”
“Krystal, our teacher was fantastic! The group was small enough to get plenty of individual feedback. It was delivered in small chunks of theory and then we were able to put it into practice. The group reviews helped me identify all the different settings on my camera. Walking around the city alleyways was a great way to practice photography, both inside and out as well as enjoy our incredible city. I would highly recommend this to others.”
