As much fun as I had, I think that there needs to be more tools supplied for creating pieces with clay. Very limited with the tools. I also found that it was misleading being called sip and sculpt, had this experience given as a present and believed it was a sip and sculpt, but found out later when they that the sip was not included. Even though the email stated it was.

The venue for this class was hidden in a laneway with lots of artwork to entice people in. Our teacher, Van, was lovely (maybe a little nervous) and encouraged us to just go with the flow and feel of the clay. This made the session rather cathartic. This was a gift from the family and was easy to access. The only disappointment was the late provision of the snack pack that was paid for. A little prior preparation would have made this just right.

No quirky plant pots in sight. No instruction or direction. Halfway through the ‘class’ after dismantling my creations a number of times ,I asked how to use the tools to my creative advantage without any guidance. A little later while cleaning up from the previous class , we were offered some inspirational handouts and a book (to read?) no eftpos to pay for our sip and no music, no byo. Would not recommend paying the cost to receive a lump of clay .

We did a quirky clay pots making class with a group of 10 colleagues! We had an absolute ball. It was great because the teacher ran through how to make them, gave us some tips and then left us to create our own. She would then just check in with us. Helen was fabulous in organising the event. We were able to stay and relax in the lounge after our class was finished which we were super grateful for. Great few hours and a super cute space!

The teacher was lovely and really informative and helpful. However, the vibe/atmosphere wasn’t there at all, I had paid for a cocktail and wasn’t offered it, and had forgotten about it. As much as the activity itself was relaxing, I can’t say it was worth the money.
