Was a good class took only 2 hours not the 3 it says on the class even with my mum picking a more complex design. Was very cute and useable wallet that looked great!

Justine was very kind and patient, and clearly very talented with making leather goods. Was a private class with a cosy environment. Would recommend if looking for a bit of a different small class that's still affordable!

Justine was amazing! She was kind and answered our questions and clarifications with patience. There was a huge range of leathers, colours and designs to choose from which made the process feel very personalised. Would highly recommend!

It was the first time I felt disappointed from a workshop. Despite the inconvenient location, I planned this workshop for my cousin coming from overseas to remove the language barrier as the instructor could speak Korean. Simply put: - came off impatient and a bit rude (told me not to worry about time and then passive aggressively told me I took too long and she started quickly making it herself (also responded similarly when my cousin asked a question like we should know how to do things but this is a workshop and clearly she’s not explaining nor guiding us well if we’re all confused? How would it be our fault for not knowing?) - minimal explanation and guidance, we had to ask what to do for details and the response was coldly the same “yeah just do that”. Not much guidance and honestly seemed like she didn’t care too much. Ended up making mistakes: I made a lopsided stained wallet (again when I commented the paint wasnt dry she said it’d be fine…) and my cousin was helping my struggling mum since the instructor wasn’t doing her job…) - unclear communication and expectations. If she had somewhere to go after, she could’ve guided us better so we weren’t so lost or not contradicted herself telling us not to worry with time and then halfway rushing us and acting passive aggressive. If it was another instructor, I know they would’ve cared enough to make it right with a solution if a customer was upset or a product came out unsatisfactory. She also forgot to tell us (or bother checking really) that the inside border had to be painted/sealed and we talked amongst ourselves and figured it out. No apology, no regard. I could tell she just wanted us out of there. I’m quite shocked to have had such a negative experience, especially after reading all the positive old reviews. I know people have bad days, but this just seemed unprofessional and I’m disappointed that my cousin and mum had a negative experience for their first ever workshop.

Matching to the atmosphere of the studio and location, both the class and teacher was nice and quaint. Despite the heavy rain we experienced on the day, it proved to be a little addition to the mood as it helped us immerse ourselves into the class. Justine was very patient with us and went through each step thoroughly. She ensured that each of us was on task and did not rush the group, allowing for everyone to work at their own pace. In terms of material provided, we were given an array of different types of leather to choose from. This included a variety on texture, thickness and colour. There was also a wide selection patterns and designs available. Additionally, we were also able to add our own monogrammed chosen word/name/initials. Thus making the experience very personalised. In summary, the class was extremely flexible in that it allowed for each person's personality to show through their project. It was definitely a fun class and experience that we would recommend to others. Thanks a bunch again justine!
