“Grateful for the course existence. Teacher set the pressures I can imagine you need to be prepared for in the job industry. He was very caring, and humorous, well trained. Misunderstandings and communication sometimes wasn’t clear but that’s okay because we were trying to get through much content & I understand he was doing his best to give criticism necessary that could have been the cause of issues he observed- and he can’t see everything that occurs between students all at once at different stations, and gave his honest feedback and authentic self I appreciate. The hardest thing was actually working and learning with my random partner hahah over learning the content. I advise anyone to ensure you feel confident with experiencing and dealing with stress, communicating well with partners, and multitasking. This will help A LOT with feeling satisfied you don’t waste your opportunity at absorbing much content correctly, focusing on details, and having the abilities to practice the work. If I didn’t have a lot of prior experiences with this, I think my partner and I would have potentially not been able to complete any real practice. I had to constantly explain and instruct everything repeatedly to my partner and he still didn’t understand very much or he just never felt confident enough which took up our time and practices, and my abilities to be there learning from the teacher sometimes. If you struggle with fast English, I recommend you bring a friend to do the course with you who understands English and can help. There were many other foreigners where English wasn’t their first language, but they did well when they had each other- like the French couple in my class.”
