We attended a family pottery class which was a birthday gift for my 10 year old. We absolutely loved it and my daughter keeps asking when we can do the next one. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did this workshop with my 6 year old and we both loved it. Teacher Lucy was beautiful (calm, soothing presence, very helpful, lovely disposition, shared her knowledge and helped make our pieces look good). Would def look to do this workshop again. Studio was gorgeous with lots of natural light. Highly recommend

It was a great experience. Lucy was very patient with the students and has helped everyone. We liked the overall experience. I started to get better with the clay towards the end and it was very satisfying.

The setting and environment was lovely, our teacher was friendly and helped us new beginners. However at the end we were asked to pay an additional $20 for each extra piece we made, considering we had already paid for the session and was not advised of this at the beginning? I could not tell my son he couldn’t take home his extra artwork and ended up paying an extra $60. That part I was disappointed in.

Lucy was a fantastic instructor and the environment was so welcoming for beginners. My 7yr old and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely instructor, beautiful location, time went quickly, could have used more time 'on the wheel'

We did this activity as a family of 4, with kids aged 6 and 9. It was a very fun class! Wheel throwing is definitely more challenging than I expected, and we were all keen to give it a go again. The class was well-organised, the teacher engaged and offering constant supervision and assistance. If anything, I would recommend kids be slightly older than 6 when trying this out. The pedal is too far to reach (although doesn't matter much once the wheel gets going), and because of the size of the wheel it was hard for the younger one to reach. I would also like the class to be perhaps half an hour longer - gives you more time to explore, make mistakes, and then still be able to create a piece to keep. Definitely would recommend this!
