“Jennifer was an amazing teacher! She explained each step of the process as we went on the wheel, demonstrating and then watching us do it. She stepped in to show us exactly where we were off so we could understand what we needed to do differently. And best of all she didn’t let us wander too far down so that our pottery creation fell apart. That was the perfect balance of assistance and independence in learning. We didn’t get frustrated but could see when we needed to change our technique. My teen daughter and I had a great private class. First time for both of us. I also liked how after three times guided by Jennifer, she let us try it ourselves. She had made it look so easy to fix our missteps, but of course it wasn’t so easy on our own! But she was happy to step in. She is a fantastic and upbeat teacher who is clearly so experienced technically speaking and knows how to explain the concepts to total beginners. Highly recommend to anyone!!”
