Our teacher was great! They weren't too hands on and were always around for help and questions. Really enjoyed working with Colby and I plan to come back to another class again soon.

Class was on Valentine’s Day 2026. Summary: Would not recommend. Staff was friendly but this event was poorly organized. If you are a couple looking to enjoy doing arts and crafts together, save your time and money by ordering the same lamp kit off Amazon for half the price and staying home. Using terms from the class description, there was nothing “intimate” or “guided” about this experience to justify the price. More details: There wasn’t even a class in the technical sense- my wife and I arrived early for a start time of 1230, only to be left standing in the hallway with a group of other couples while staff explained that they could only take batches of 6 people at a time because the prior class was wrapping up. Fortunately we were able to get in the second batch (15mins after the scheduled start time). Inside, the room was PACKED with multiple row tables of couples sitting shoulder to shoulder. We were seated at a table alongside ~20 other couples and given a lamp kit (the cramped nature of the seating arrangement became even clearer once everyone started unpacking their kits). It was obvious couples around the room were at different stages of lamp making, which removed any sense of a cohesive class. That feeling was only further compounded by the instructors periodically making rounds to each table and asking if we’d been given the history lesson or instructions yet. To be clear, each lamp kit comes with an instruction booklet and a QR code to a youtube video tutorial. The staff were friendly, but did little more than explain how to apply glue on the lamp for tiles and beads, and recommend that we use the template patterns provided in the kit for inspiration. Well that and give us friendly time checks while reminding us about the firm 2hr time limit… Reading the room, the staff mentioned that Valentine’s Day is their most crowded day and asked us to please bear with them- but why should we? This was a registered event which means capacity and staffing were completely in the hands of the event organizer. This event was poorly organized and not worth the time or money.
