“I booked a private tour and workshop in Los Angeles. Gabe was nice and we did a short walk in the area that his studio is located in. I requested a social justice tour, however, which Gabe said he would provide. There was nothing related to social justice in the graffiti that we saw. That was disappointing. Otherwise, folks seemed to have fun, especially the younger ones among us, and Gabe did a good job of engaging everyone in our big group. In the future, I really hope that he would honor thematic requests.”
