“It was my second time taking a class at the Crafty Lounge. Laurie is extremely patient, fun to learn from, knowledgeable. And wonderful experience all around. I was able to make a scarf and start a sweater in two classes.

“The Knitting workshop was very informative on how to knit! More importantly, it was also fun!
Garret (forgive if not correct spelling) the instructor was very concise in his instruction both verballly and with an actual demonstration. He visually displayed each step and when I or either other student asked, he was more than happy to repeat. He seemed to be as enthused spreading his knitting knowledge, as I and the other students were to absorb his knowledge.
After a few false starts; and a few mistakes; with Garret's help finally developed a rythym. Another item that made the class fun, was Garret being there to help when we asked for aid. He performed; and instructed; on how to fix the problem.
The only item associated with the class that I felt could have been better would have to be that longer round (chunky) knitting needles had been supplied. I believe longer needles would have made the process and actual knitting smoother.
Even with the above, the class was fun and I would sign up for another knitting workshop at The Crafty Lounge. I would and am recommending for anyone wanting to learn to knit, conisder going to The Crafty Lounge!!”

“I hadn’t picked up knitting needles in 55 years. Erin was so helpful in reteaching me casting on, knit, purl, and casting off. I have been practicing repeatedly. Once i get a bit more practice in, then i will be wanting to find a pattern. I also want to discuss needle size. Your store was very comfortable and would be a great place to come to knit in a group. And Snoopy made me very happy!”
