“I completely enjoyed this workshop. First, the vegan suede hat is totally indistinguishable from real suede. Cara was again very cheerful and friendly; I had previously worked with her for a hand knit blanket workshop.
At time of booking I selected the rancher (cowboy) hat for my workshop. I received the package a couple of weeks before the workshop tonight. Inside the package was the rancher hat, a soldering iron and a plastic bag containing feathers, toothpicks and pages of images that a person may choose from.
Cara was clear and concise in her instructions on how to burn one of the supplied images onto the hat. How to use the supplied plasticine paper to trace an image, peel it off and apply to the hat. Then instructed on best technique to use the soldering iron to burn the image. The toothpicks are then used to pick out any particulars of the plasticine left behind when it was pulled off.
As stated previously, the workshop was fun. Cara a pleasure to work with. I look forward to taking other of Coastal Design Workshops workshops :-)”
“I’ve requested a refund. This was my anniversary present from my husband. I was very excited about it. I never received my package and until I messaged I never heard from the instructor who told me “So sorry I have another obligation”. So I didn’t enjoy my class.”
