The teacher was great! He was kind, very funny, and very knowledgable. We made 3 rolls, a hand roll, traditional roll, and a california roll. It was very easy to learn and fun to hear about random facts about the rolls and where they came from. I highly recommend taking this class with a friend or partner as a fun date!

I don't have enough words to describe what a great class this was! I had originally bought the class as a gift for my boyfriend who ended up not being able to attend. I decided to take my 20 year old son and even he said what a fun class it was. Our teacher Matt was amazing! He took the time to not only show us, but teach us a few tips and tricks he learned from being in the cooking industry for many years. He was thoughtful and thorough in his presentation and helped guide us when needed. We can't wait to try what we learned today in our sushi making class at home. Thank you Matt for a fantastic experience. We will definitely take another class in the future.

Great class for beginners. We learned some knife skills and great tips for rice cooking. We made a hand roll and 2 sushi rolls. The shocker was when the instructor stated the ingredients for those three rolls was $5.70 per person! Three rolls at a restaurant would be ten times that price.

Matt was extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly prepared, and very encouraging. We learned how to make sushi rice (it’s more complicated than you think) made a veggie hand roll, a simple tuna roll, and a California roll, all in two hours. Perhaps the greatest value, however, was all the kitchen techniques Matt shared and where locally to buy sushi-grade fish and tools. I left the class confident and eager to start my sushi adventure at home.

I attended this with my daughter and we had a great time. The teacher was extremely well-prepared and did a lot of the chopping for us ahead of time. He was funny so the class was fun. The food was delicious. We would definitely do another class with this instructor

Our group had such a fantastic time learning how to make sushi! The experience was fun, hands-on, and surprisingly easy to follow thanks to the amazing chef. Not only were they super knowledgeable but also warm and engaging, making everyone feel comfortable—even those of us who had never rolled sushi before. The sushi itself was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially appreciated that the chef offered to send us the recipe afterward so we could try making it at home. That thoughtful touch really made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and tasty group activity!
