“Super fun class! The teacher was so kind and patient with explain steps and giving tips. The kimekomi doll we had was a bit harder and we did not finish within the class period, but we were offered to purchase the tools to finish at home. Otherwise, we were provided glue and the remaining fabrics and encouraged to finish when we could. I ended up taking some creative liberties with my cat and LOVE how it turned out!”
“This class was so fun! The instructor provided instructions, a little background on Japanese Kimekomi dolls and all the materials we needed. She also had beautiful examples of dolls made by her and her aunt. We were very focused and the time flew by! We really appreciated the time they put into the class.”
“Still in the process of making the sparrow—I really loved how friendly and creative everyone was, and the sensei was incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a great experience! I just wish I had more time to finish it. It was surprisingly easy and fun to do!”
“Keiko was delightful! Her presentation and instructions were clear and interesting, and she circulated constantly to make sure people were not having problems. I was so pleased with my little temari ball, I decided to do another workshop and to try some kimekomi at home. It was a great use of 90 minutes -- just the right amount of challenge and a fun discovery of a new art form. Plus, we had a wonderful little product to take home!”
“Such a fun class! Enjoyed the teacher’s charisma and patience. She was very helpful and really made the class enjoyable. Looking forward to taking more classes!!”
