“We took my niece to this doll adornment workshop and she had SO much fun. She can't stop carrying her doll everywhere! Peggy's studio is so lovely and she did a wonderful job helping my niece express her creativity (but also stay on track) which, as someone who has worked with kids at camps, is honestly such a skill! “Not just for doll enthusiasts or creatives, this wonderful class is for everyone! I didn't fancy dolls much as a child. I had a few but preferred to play with my bear stuffies instead. I didn't know about the magic that could be found in dolls. I have attended Peggy's wonderful workshop twice now. Both times I was swept up in the joy and freedom of play and creativity. Being a person who struggles with embodiment, the bold colors, the soft textures, the soothing sounds of jazz in Peggy's workshop were all potent ingredients for a blissful two hours of meditative flow. I felt so much calm, ease and tranquility while creating my Stafford Dolls. In so many ways both dolls are mirrors into unknown areas of my psyche. I have learned so much about myself in the process of both creating and owning these beautifully crafted dolls. They sit adjacent to my desk and are ever present companions providing inspiration and comfort. Peggy is a masterful facilitator. She lovingly guides you through the entire creative process and you are in charge of every last lovely detail from the hair, to adornments, and clothing of the doll. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who would like to connect to themselves and others.
