“The teacher was good, but the place had no charm whatsoever. It was held in a shabby hotel, in a room where, when it rained, water leaked from the ceiling onto the table. I thought they would have made an effort to create some atmosphere, but it was completely cold and soulless. The tables we worked on were terribly small for two people — we couldn’t move comfortably, and several things fell to the floor. To drink tap water during those hours, we had to go out to the hotel bar.”
