Absolutely loved this class. It was so fun and creative. The instructors were super helpful but also let you be hands on and really learn on your own. I definitely want to come back with a better design in mind

The Porcelain Planters Ceramics Class at Wilcoxson is very enjoyable. The two instructors, Levi and Loiuse were very knowledgeable about slip casting. Each one helped anyone who requested aid, be it offering comment on design questions, how to do a design, and how to mix colors to either get a new color or to marblize. Then provided guidance on how to pour the slip (liquid porcelain clay) over the design, then when the slip was dry enough, how to remove from the mold, how to prepare the mug for shaping and then pouring what will become the bottom. Levi and Louise, also instructed if wanting to decorate what will become the inside, to do so before shaping. Today was my fourth visit to Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics and each visit was as enjoyable and productive as the first. If looking for a different way to work work with clay than the traditional wheel throwing or hand building, go to Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics for an alternative.

The Porcelain Planters Ceramics Class conducted at #Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics was very enjoyable. Kevin and Levi (sic) were both very energetic and knowledgable. Each moved around the room to offer advice and provide aid to either myself or the other participants in today's session. The workshops contain a mixture of Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics classes/workshops and it can do so because the basic procedure of creating a mug. planter, bowl or plate and then how to shape are the same. The significant difference is in the type of mold used and to create the particular item. I definitely recommend Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics, if you have a desire to work with clay; particularly porcelain clay and slip molding; and any of their offerings.
