“Such a fun and rewarding activity! We were honestly a bit nervous before the class because we're not artistic/crafty but we quickly got the hang of it. Our teacher, Nicole, was super great at teaching and made the experience so much fun :)”
“The teacher didn’t really teach us or give us useful tips. It was my first time ever doing tufting so I was expecting to learn techniques but the teacher only explained how to load the tufting gun. She didn’t explain spacing so I ended up putting vertical lines way too close together at the beginning and realized later that that was the wrong way to do it and I should be spacing it out more. I also thought her attitude towards our designs was more negative. Instead of being honest but encouraging about how easy or hard a design would be to pull off and give tips or tricks to achieve it, she kind of just said “that’s too hard”. To me, it’s okay to not have a perfect product at the end and make some mistakes, but I felt she wasn’t super helpful at explaining or encouraging me as this was my first time every tufting. They also told my girlfriend they had limited colors and then after she started piled out a new box of completely different colored yarn for another person to use. I was so confused why she didn’t tell my girlfriend there were more color options. Anyways, I ended up enjoying my time and they provided water and snacks which was nice. But for the price, I expected the teachers to be better.”
“Had an amazing time at this tufting class! The instructor Amir was incredibly kind and made the whole process feel approachable, even for total beginners. The best part? Leaving with a finished rug in hand it was the perfect icing on the cake. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this for a creative date night . Will be coming back for more classes”
