“The teacher was very experienced and excellent at showing demos, they were also very friendly. The kitchen was stocked and we learned a lot about dumpling methods and were made aware of some new kitchen utensils we want to get. The teacher also threw in some history of dumplings. We really liked the location and parking was easy on a Friday night.
I gave this class three stars because I think the class was doing too much. Six dumplings were planned, but your team only made 1 and then moved to the next station. I did not prefer this because then you’re eating food prepared by other students. Me and my husband expected to eat something much earlier in the class, but the food was only prepared by the end of class. We would have preferred to make 2-3 dumplings and prepare them ourselves and eat something far earlier in the class.
If I had realized this structure I wouldn’t have taken this class. We don’t eat fish or shellfish and had hoped to pick and choose what we made or at least remove ingredients as we pleased for our own preparations.”
