“Sonja and Dave's class was an absolute treat!!! My guy surprised me with a private candle making class for our anniversary and from the moment we walked in, I knew it would be a good time. We were immediately greeted by their 4yr old pup, Banana, so cute and sweet. She didn't jump or bark at us, just a very calm and well mannered little lady. She let me rub and scratch her as her parents finished setting up for the class (this was an added bonus for me as an animal lover who was just watching dog videos on IG during the drive over ;). Soon, Sonja had our sculpted candle bowls, paints and scents on the table ready for us to begin. She sat down and talked us through the very simple process of customizing our own candles and even painted her own along with us. Dave kept us all laughing; he and my guy enjoyed sharing their love of movies and we all chatted about delicious food and travel, as we waited for the paint on the bowls to dry. Next, we each got to choose from many scents to make the perfect blend for our candles, after we scented the wax and poured it into our bowls, we had the option to top with stones and/or flowers. All 3 candles turned out absolutely beautiful and smelled just as great! At the end of our class, for our anniversary, the sweet couple gifted us the candle that Sonja had worked on during our time together. Such a generous surprise! All in all, I 100% recommend visiting “OOPS! ART HAPPENS” for any and all occasions! Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, solo date, friends’ group outing or just a random Wednesday and you're feeling artsy, THIS family business is definitely one to support and I wish them much love and success!”

“This was my third candle making class and by far my favorite experience from a customer service experience! My husband and I attended a class and were welcomed with opened arms from the very beginning by Sonia and Banana. We were made to feel at ease and offered water and snacks while we got settled. Throughout the class we were giving step by step instructions and this was especially helpful. I’ve attended classes where I was left to fend for myself but with Sonia, she was there every step of the way without hovering. You can tell that she is passionate about her craft. It showed in how she explained things and the level of care she took. I would definitely book another class as well as recommend her to anyone else looking for a similar experience.”
