“The DIY Plushie Day at the Crafty Lounge was very enjoyable. This is my second workshop at the Crafty Lounge and for this booking I had registered to hand knit an elephant, and when I arrived, Laurie (forgive if not proper spelling) had prepared the ears and tusk; to ensure that the elephant was finished within the alloted time. Laurie provided a demostration of the hand knitting technique and then handed to the elephant over to me to finish hand knitting to my desired length.
After the hand knitting was complete, the elephant was stuffed with fiber fill, and then the top was tied shut to keep stuffing in. Then attached the ears and trunk and dded eyes and tusk (see photo).
All in all a very enjoyable workshop. I look forward to other plushie offerings from The Crafty Lounge and whole heartedly recommend them for plushie and other projects.”
