“The dumplings were very tasty. The class is focused on folding, which makes sense since you can purchase the ingredients prefabricated. However, I do think it was a little bit difficult - in an hour and a half, our instructor tried to teach about 7 folds to 9 people, and I don't think the math quite worked on this one. I was able to do the two easiest folds, but I don't think it's possible to pick up the more advanced folds after seeing them demonstrated just once. It did not help that I am left-handed and the instructor didn't consistently provide left-handed modifications. I like this restaurant and I enjoy these dumplings, so these are nitpicks I suppose. However, I do feel like myself and most of the students were struggling with the advanced folds and that the class would be better if it were focused on 2-3 folds, or if class sizes were capped to a more intimate number.
Now... I think that the dumplings in the picture speak for themselves. These are good, tasty dumplings. But the math of the class - packing so much into so little time - I do think is a drawback of the programming.”
