The instructor was very helpful and structured each class around a different focus, which kept the course engaging and allowed us to learn a variety of techniques. He would spend some time demonstrating and drawing before giving us the freedom to work independently, striking a great balance between instruction and creativity. He wasn't overbearing, but was always available to provide guidance and feedback, and it was easy to ask for extra help when needed. The small class size created a welcoming and collaborative environment where everyone interacted and learned from one another. We regularly critiqued each other's drawings, which was especially valuable because it helped us see our own work from new perspectives and improve our skills.

Overall Experience & Facilities The location and the building itself were absolutely amazing. However, the specific classroom assigned for this course was uncomfortable and inadequate for the subject matter. The desks and chairs were not well-suited for drawing, and the room layout made it very difficult for many students to actually see what the instructor was demonstrating. Instruction & Class Size The class size was simply too large for a single instructor. Because of the high student-to-teacher ratio, it was incredibly difficult to get individual guidance or meaningful feedback during class time, despite the teacher's best efforts. Recommendations for Improvement To improve the experience for future cohorts, I highly recommend capping the enrollment to limit the number of students per class. Additionally, providing the instructor with digital tools—such as a document camera and projector—would ensure that everyone can clearly see and follow along with the demonstrations.
