“We had the closed terrarium class for a company office event. It was really fun seeing how people were designing their terrariums. Colby was really kind and patient with us. She brewed some turkish tea and coffee and passed out some turkish delights for us to enjoy while we waited for more kits to be delivered. The class itself is definitely 5 out of 5 but there were some issues we encountered.
We were not able to start class on time. We initially booked for 15 guests but there was only 9 kits available. We had to wait about 25 minutes for the extra kits, glass jars and ivy to be delivered. This unfortunately affected some of my colleagues since they had prior commitments and must leave by a certain time, thus they were not able to complete their terrariums.
We also had 1 extra person who joined (total group size is now 16 people). To pay for the extra person, I requested for an email link to be sent so I can get an official receipt. However, ClassBento somehow automatically charged my credit card without my authorization, and also for the wrong amount.
My credit card was charged 89 USD but the ClassBento email I received invoiced me for 84 USD. Both were incorrect. The addition of 1 extra person should have been 79 USD, since I already booked for 15 guests. I also had a ClassBento voucher that I wanted to use before it expired.
I talked to Colby, who provided her boss, Kadir's phone number. This allowed me to directly call and talk to him to resolve the issue. Kadir said he was able to reverse the charge of 89 USD (refund will take 5 to 10 biz days) but for some reason the ClassBento invoice link wouldn't allow him to change of the additional guest fee from 84 USD to 79 USD. I had to use the ClassBento voucher to make it 79 USD.
In conclusion, we had an awesome time so the class itself definitely deserves 5 stars. I just wanted to share the hiccups I had encountered and mention how they were able to address and resolve it same day.”
“It was my first time attending such a workshop as I was interested in making a closed terrarium. The venue was a bit small but managed to fit in multiple various workshops like rug tufting and Turkish mosaic lamps. Mr. Scientist was very friendly and enthusiastic. All materials were provided in making the terrarium. He walked us through the steps in making the terrarium.
Not sure if there was some confusion on my part when purchasing the workshop, but I thought this would be a closed terrarium class, as advertised. The class was told it would be an open terrarium due to the plant not being able to survive in closed terrarium conditions. I understand, as I wouldn't want the plant to die on me. After the class, I received an email to review the class, and noticed that I did, in fact, purchase a closed terrarium class. I feel the class should be advertised properly so I could attend the workshop and create what I want to instead of being told something different when I arrived at the studio.
Overall, I had fun and it was nice experience.”

I liked the hands-on experience and the way that everyone got to customize their terrariums to make them special! Mr. Scientist is a very fun and knowledgeable guide and he made the experience ten times more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend his class to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing time!”
“We had a wonderful private class experience with Mr Scientist for close glass bottle terrarium. We found out he has many other talents like Wire Bonsai Tree and Rug Tufting. We truly enjoyed his warm genuine Turkish hospitality. Mr Scientist was very gracious and generous about his knowledge and manage to satisfy all our inqusity about Terraniums.
