“It was my first time attending such a workshop as I was interested in making a closed terrarium. The venue was a bit small but managed to fit in multiple various workshops like rug tufting and Turkish mosaic lamps. Mr. Scientist was very friendly and enthusiastic. All materials were provided in making the terrarium. He walked us through the steps in making the terrarium.
Not sure if there was some confusion on my part when purchasing the workshop, but I thought this would be a closed terrarium class, as advertised. The class was told it would be an open terrarium due to the plant not being able to survive in closed terrarium conditions. I understand, as I wouldn't want the plant to die on me. After the class, I received an email to review the class, and noticed that I did, in fact, purchase a closed terrarium class. I feel the class should be advertised properly so I could attend the workshop and create what I want to instead of being told something different when I arrived at the studio.
Overall, I had fun and it was nice experience.”
