Emily was awesome and explained everything perfectly to first-timers while also teaching throughly enough the technique to those of us who may venture to try macarons at home. We worked in pairs and started with the cookies, picking our color for the batter, then piped it out to trays and baked. While the cookies baked and cooled we made a chocolate ganache and a lemon curd. It would have been lovely to have requested the filling in advance of class as the caramel and hazelnut fillings that are included in the recipe packet sound fantastic too. We all left feeling accomplished and I’d love to do this again for another occasion!

I learned everything I needed to know to succeed the next time I make Macarons on my own. The class was small so the teacher was able to attend to all of us and answer our questions.

Chef Jen and Paula provided a wonderful experience. Making the macarons was both informative and fun! The venue is cozy and made us feel like chefs. Thank you for the experience.
