“This was not the best class we've ever taken. The teacher was nice but we didn't feel we learned very much. The ingredients were all pre-mixed for us, so all we did was turn on the mixer. knead the dough a bit, and eventually form the dough into bagels. There was a lot of dead time during which we were waiting for the dough to proof. Would have appreciated more instruction/information during the waiting periods, and more hands on work of measuring the ingredients. And our bagels didn't turn out very good. They didn't rise at all and neither did our table-mates'. Makes me wonder if ingredients were pre-measured incorrectly.”
