“Talk Tales was easy to work with and swift to respond. Our members had a good time and folks enjoyed the class overall. I would consider working together again, but there is room for improvement from our experience...
Suggestions:
- Quality of Liquor: While the kits were easy to receive and had impressive packaging, I was deeply disappointed in the quality of spirits (especially for the price point of the class!) In my book, brands served in glass, not plastic are a minimum. I know the shooters might always be plastic... but the store-bought option should not be.
- Drink Diversity: We were disappointed that the drinks all felt similar. We would have preferred offering two diverse cocktails vs. three that use the same ingredients but only vary in liquor and garnish.
- Knowing Your Audience: While our Mixologist was easy to get along with and kind to work with, it was clear that he preferred a more casual (read: bach parties) over a corporate setting. I get it! But Talk Tales advertises they can do it all and knows the audience. I felt disappointed that the bartender didn't feel prepared to be more professional in tone in a workplace setting.
