Pottery Wheel Throwing Class Reviews

Lu was a great instructor! She was very patient and helpful every time ‘I ‘overdid’ my creation. No. 1 rule not to do!! We were the ‘older’ adorable couple that were the first to clean ourselves up! We can’t wait to come back to do it again! Just a little disappointed couldn’t get my matching paper clip holder creation fired but I do love my pencil holder too! Thank you for a great time! Anna was friendly and seemed to know at least the basics. Her demonstration was fine but it’s complicated if you’ve never taken a pottery class before and we were then left on our own. for me the steps were hard to remember. She did make herself available to help, and encouraged creativity and play. One thing I wish would be in the description is that the act of using the wheel is very difficult on the back- I have a back injury and was only able to use the wheel for an hour before I felt pain. Had I known how strenuous the class would be on my back I would have been more prepared and I would have had realistic expectations.

Great and fun class! We were lucky and had a small class so could get a lot of tips and help from the teacher, Patrick.

Great class, great group of people, the professor (teacher) was the best and accommodating. Recommend all couples.

Our teacher, Lou, was great. She was fun, to the point, and very willing to help. Had more than enough time to throw a couple pieces. Great entry class that is easy-going and therapeutic.

The teacher was very skilled and gave us a helpful introduction and we were able to learn the basics of pottery. A party showed up halfway into the class which took away time from the rest of the participants ability to get hands on instruction since the teacher had to re-explain and walk through the steps with the late arrivals. Id recommend the class not allow those who arrive more then 10-15 minutes late to join because it's disruptive to other people's experiences and for the price we pay, would have expected more time dedicated for 1-1 instruction
