“Excellent!!! Everything from arranging the Matisse Inspired Collage Workshop to the two fantastic, enthusiastic instructors who led the session was top-notch and made for a memorable experience. This was a private class held at home to celebrate two birthdays in the family, and the group ranged in age from 17 to 94 years-old, including one person with Down Syndrome. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it - learning, creating, sharing, laughing, appreciating together this very special experience. Even people in the family who shy away from making art loved the workshop and made wonderful pieces. The workshop began with a visual presentation about Matisse that was inspiring and helped familiarize everyone with the techniques to be used in the ensuing workshop. All the materials were quality and arranged professionally in the workshop area/dining room. The instructors provided guidance on technigues throughout. The last part of the class was a show & tell, and it was meaningful to hear and appreciate each person's piece and creative thinking. The instructors cleaned up everything, and the dining room was quickly ready to serve the birthday dinner. The 94-year-old commented that this was one of his best birthday celebrations ever.”
