“This product was sold to me by the pool company that installed our in ground pool. I have been testing the water for 3 weeks and have yet to see a reading on the test strip through the tube per the instructions. I have the setting on 99 and have been monitoring it every week and nothing yet.”

Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting a copper reading. The first thing to check is that the Mineral Action light is coming on - that will confirm that the system is ionizing.
Also, you should keep the chlorine level at 2-3ppm while the copper is ramping up to 'run interference' so the copper isn't used up as it's produced.
Another common issue is high phosphates - make sure to keep phosphates as close to 0 ppb as possible.
