“Baby screams inconsolably when placed in the carrier. We've had the Colugo carrier for about 5 days, so it's a bit early for a review, but I have to say that it has been a disastrous experience so far. The baby, who is a newborn weighing a little over 8lbs, starts to cry and then scream as soon as she is inserted into the carrier. We use the infant adjustment, but my sense is that it spreads her legs too much and makes her uncomfortable. Regardless, the carrier is un-unsable for now. With the 100-day return policy, we may keep trying it for a few weeks and then return it if the situation does not improve. FWIW, she is totally fine when carried in a wrap. It seems like the structured nature of the carrier is the problem. To be fair to Colugo, I'm not sure that the experience would be any different for any other structured carrier.”

“Best carrier except for head support. I absolutely lived wearing my baby in this carrier; the material is soft, light and airy, and it is very easy to adjust the carrier. However, I have a tall baby and would have needed better neck support for her. The carrier’s head support is reinforced, but does not clip/snap in the up position, and I ended up having to hold my baby’s head while walking around. Probably an amazing carrier for the newborn stage while the baby’s head is still down low, and the older phase when forward facing, but a little awkward between 4-6 months.”

“Great design for a good price.. I have had the Ergo for my first and somehow lost it. Needed a new carrier for my second and tried out this one. It’s a great design with the pockets, the mesh in between you and baby to keep you both cooler, and the easy magnet clips. Very comfortable material. I like it just as much if not better than the Ergo, and it’s much cheaper!”

“Comfy for the both of us. This is by far the easiest, coziest, smartest carrier that ever was! I've been using it daily (or my husband) since we got it. The magnet clips are so smart and the little pockets for the extra diaper, keys, wallet and hand sanitizer are so convenient, no need to grab an extra bag.”
