“Ordering Lids By Design is easy. The hardest part is choosing the size. I suggest starting with the assortment strips. You will be able to try all the sizes and therefore be able to choose the correct size the next time. They arrive quickly. Next, is the application of the strips. I repeatedly watched Britain's YouTube videos in which she applies the strips. She walks you through the process. I took notes. I practiced. I made drawings of my eyes and determined where I needed to place the strips for each eye. I made it more difficult than it actually was. Look at your eyes, straight ahead in a mirror. Locate the fold/crease of your eye. If you don't have one, have monolids or hooded eyes, practice drawing a crease on your lid with an eye pencil. In all cases, once the crease is found or created, place the strip on top of it. Gently press the strip in place from one end to the other. I press one area, move on to the next, press, move to the next, press, until you're at the end of the strip. Having a little OCD, I count to five with each gentle press. Then stand back, look in the mirror and assess the placement. You may choose to remove it and replace it but do this until you're finally happy with it. I don't know if this is just me but my eyelids are shaped differently. My right lid is more hooded than the left, therefore the strips are placed differently. The correct placement does take practice, but the time spent is so worth it. I apply a light application of primer over my entire lid just as I had prior to using Lids by Design. I lightly blend the primer right on the strip, they don't move. I've found that while how I apply eye make up is the same, the amount I use is less. I continue with various powder shadows, all matt. I love Lids by Design. They are now part of my daily make up routine. Thank you so much Britain for designing them!”
