“These are totally great when I get them right. My eyes are not only hooded and getting worse as I age, but one eye is worse so using these not only helps the hood but also makes my eyes look even. That said, I have wasted so many of the strips with trial and error. The second the strips touch your skin they become useless if you need to readjust, so if I don't put it on absolutely perfectly the first time, I have to start over with a new strip. So it's not great economically.
Also, these don't have super longevity especially when I'm out and about throughout the day and in the heat. Even when I prep my eyelid, the strips start to get sticky around the outside and slippery, and it's a bit uncomfortable and they become more noticeable.
But overall, I'll keep buying and using these even if they aren't perfect. It's the best temporary option!”
Hello Kathleen,
Remember, placement may take practice. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN so you can practice placing up to 3x. If you do not get your ideal placement on the first try, simply remove the correcting strip and reposition as needed. Once you have found the perfect placement, remove the practice strip and replace it with a fresh strip for all-day wear!
Try our Extended Wear Adhesive to provide your LIDS BY DESIGN with extra hold.
“Ladies I saw this ad randomly and the results looked amazing and super natural so I figured why not try it. Just got mine after about a week put one on easily and voila it actually works as advertised! Definitely recommend this product”
“I was pleasantly surprised that these really are easy to apply and have an amazing effect! I highly recommend them! I tried both 5mm and 7mm. The 5mm worked best for me.”
“The eye contours work very well. Takes a bit of practice to get the right placement. I ordered the Assortment to experiment with sizes and the 3" tweezers, don't like the plastic ones that came with the Assortment. My eyelids (77 yrs) are very bad so will order 8mm next. I actually used two of the smaller ones on each lid to make them bigger.”
