“I have always had hooded eyelids, so even though I’m in my 50s, my need for the product is more genetic than age. My lids don’t droop, which made for a lack of extra skin to lift. It also made me worry that I’d have a hard time finding placement. I did find placement a bit challenging, but after a couple of tries, I think I found the right spot. I know that this product is geared toward people with age-related hooded lids, but I’m here to tell you that regardless of the cause, this product DELIVERS!! Boy, does it deliver. I can wholeheartedly recommend these strips for even young people, if hooded lids are getting you down.
I removed one star because I am disappointed that this variety pack doesn’t include 8mm strips. It’s not a complete assortment. As it happens, I found that I liked the larger sizes best. After a few attempts, I settled on the 7mm, and I THINK I would love the 8mm even more….I don’t know because they didn’t include that size. It’s a big bummer.
A smaller bummer, which I think can be easily overcome, is that the strips are not quite invisible on my darker skin. I think that the promise of transparency is based on Caucasian skin, just as “nude” pantyhose and Band-AIDS are assumed to be a match for Caucasian skin. It’s a bummer, but one that I’ve become used to at my age. I think I can correct the slight visibility issue with primer and a bit of eyeshadow. Finally, my eyeshadow will be visible! This is super exciting and more than makes up for any minor inconveniences.
I can’t wait to get expert at applying these amazing strips. I’m ordering the primer today so I can get started playing with eyeshadow!”

If you are struggling to gain the full transparency be sure that you are exfoliating your eyelids before application, and are not touching the adhesive side with your finger.
