“This product really works! There is such a noticeable difference and I can actually see my eye lids! Finally my eyes look more open. Lids By Design does take a little practice and you need to play around to see what the best size and placement is for your eyes. The only issue I have is that it can be difficult to get each end to really adhere to your skin.”

Ensure that your skin is clean and dry, free of any oils, makeups, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN, as edges sticking to dead skin or dirt will lift. Additionally, it's important not to touch the strips with your fingers or thick tweezers, as this will interfere with the delicate adhesive and they will no longer be transparent or stick! We recommend using our Stainless Steel Tweezers to peel and place LIDS BY DESIGN onto the eyelids.

I would be happy to help you navigate the application process, as I know it can take some time.
You want to make sure that your eyelid is clean and free of any oils or lotions before starting the application process.
We provide a starter tool to use as tweezer to be able to lift the strip from the plastic, however, if you find that you are not successful in grabbing the strip without damaging it, and have not purchased our needle nose tweezers, we recommend using a pair of clean tweezers that you have at home to be able to lift the edge end of the strip carefully. Please do not lift the strip with your fingers, as our hands have oils on them. When lifting the strip from the plastic, please make sure you are not pulling, but rather gently lifting.
Once you identify the right placement for the strip (the fold of the eyelid where the skin is sagging) you will want to lift the eye, and place the strip over that fold.
After the strip is placed, please make sure to use the "press and hold" technique, rather than swiping across. This will ensure that the strip is bonded and translucent.
If you decide that you would like to wear eyeshadow, you are welcome to do so once the strip is properly placed, however, we recommend using non-mineral oil based primer on top of the strip before applying your eyeshadow to ensure that the eyeshadow applies to the strip.

“These work just as described; however, their claim that you can apply your makeup right over them did not work (for me). I found that the strip did not match the lid around it and was somewhat lighter, as well as having obvious “lines” between the strip and your natural lid. It was not visible though when my eye was open, but was visible when my eyes were closed. I’m assuming that when I blinked it would be too quick for someone else to notice. Will have to ask someone”

For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. We also recommend using the COLORSET All-In-One Pencil over the eyelids and strip to create one smooth surface before applying your makeup.
