Hello Suzanne, As a Soil Association certified organic farm, we take animal welfare extremely seriously. We only work with trusted, certified suppliers for our organic duck and will certainly be raising this with them. We believe the damage could have happened in transit of the produce. As discussed with my colleague Katherine on the phone, we are issuing a full refund for this item. Many thanks Jemima
