“Food Quality matters, the food your food eats matters, fats MATTER!! Your bacon does have alot of fat on it, and at first this can look poorly cut but let me tell you all, when an animal has been fed a poor diet it stores toxins in its fat, however at Coombe the food your food eats is paid attention to. When animals eat the right foods their fat is so very nutritious and is just as if not more valuable than the meat/muscle. So give me my fatty bacon please. You ABSOLUTELY can taste the difference, and because the fat is thick you get 2 textures, the outer skin and then the highly nutritious layer between the skin and the meat >> this is where its at and thankyou Coombe for cutting your bacon in a way to provide me with this, it makes me happy and it makes me feel good. Finally thankyou for not curing with nitrates.”

Hi Richard! Thanks for your feedback. We are sorry that you are disappointed. We produce our back bacon and streaky bacon from rare old breeds - they naturally contain more fat than "mass production" pigs, the fat is very tasty and healthy for you though. The meat-fat content of 80/20 you mentioned is definitely not true, not even our fattiest back bacon has more than 30% fat content!
