“Even before they were defrosted and removed from their vacuum packs, I could see that these were not steaks I'd have selected myself. They were unevenly cut and particularly thin in places—not ideal for a perfectly medium-rare cook. Once out of the packaging, they pretty much fell apart. We cooked them quickly over a fierce open flame and did manage to get a good char on the outside and a medium-rare finish. The finished product was fine, but nothing to write home about.”

“Not as good as I expected for the price. Waitrose do a 30 day aged ribeye which is cheaper and tastes better. I just expected this to be so much better”

All our steaks are really juicy and tender so maybe it has something to do with the defrosting/ cooking? Not sure, so please let us know and we'll see if there's anything we can do for you!
