“What a disappointment, a folded piece of very thick fat with a thin layer of meat. Not a rolled joint that could be sliced.The smell during cooking in slow cooker was quite unsavoury. To serve I sliced off the strip of meat 40% of the joint and cut chunks. I cooked the fat in a hot oven and now have a pot of beef dripping. The taste was satisfactory but I shall not be ordering retired beef again. Sorry.”
