“Left to defrost in the fridge for a day, we then used to make a yummy Ploughman's lunch at home for the whole family. Love that it's totally nitrate and nitrite free, which is hard to find!”

“Unfortunately I cannot recommend this ham. I really wanted to like it and have made an effort to stick to nitrate-free ham for the last year or so. But my husband and I found it so salty as to be unpleasant, and surprisingly tough. After eating a couple of slices, neither of us wanted to eat any more, so I ended up cubing and freezing the rest to add to soups, because I couldn't think of any other way to use them up where their saltiness would not be a problem. I think the recipe needs to be revisited.”

“Unfortunately I cannot rave about this product. It was very dark, rather dry and definitely not tasty, as was expected. Overcooked maybe? These comments were echoed by all who were served it. Sorry!”
