“Makes a very tasty shepherds pie. It is not described as lean lamb mince and it certainly is not. The density of white speckles of fat were more than I would have been happy with if I was buying mince in the supermarket. I browned the 500 g of mince in a frying pan to start with and drained off the excess fat. What I drained off weighed 95 g and there was still plenty left in. But still, what was left did taste great and had a good tender texture.”
