“I have extremely sensitive ears and have never been able to wear any "cheap" earrings. White gold bothers my ears, sterling silver bothers my ears. I can almost instantly feel my ears become irritated by pretty much any earrings, including yellow gold (they bother my ears the least.) I spend hundreds of dollars on a pair of earrings and I can barely stand to wear them for an evening out. I typically only wear earrings for special occasions because my ears are so sensitive. I purchased these on a whim. I wanted to try them out because I thought flat backd would be nice for my daughter who just pierced her ears over the summer. I figured I'd give them a try before I tried them on her. It was a little tricky getting them in at first because I didn't get the tool and I barely wear earrings so my holes were a little snug. I inserted them from the front first and then the back after I knew I could get them in my ear holes. After getting them on, I felt no tingling sensation and no irritation whatsoever. It wasn't long and it felt as if I had nothing even in my ears. I was pleasantly surprised and I didn't expect it to last, but I'm happy to say that I haven't taken these earrings out since I put them in over a week ago. I can't believe it. I finally found an affordable earring and I think they're a thousand times more comfortable than my expensive earrings I buy from jewelry stores. They were working well for my daughter, but unfortunately, one of her schoolmates got her hair somehow caught in my daughter's earring and yanked it out. The flat back piece stayed in her ear all day, sadly the stem broke off of the earring piece that's supposed to be inserted. Now, she only has the flat back and a kitty with no stem to attach to it. I could always purchase a replacement, but it hasn't been long and I was hoping they'd have a little more rigidity to them. I have others being shipped to me. I only hope they hold up over time, especially since I subscribed to the monthly earrings. (That's how much I've enjoyed wearing them.) I only took off one star because my daughter's earring broke so quickly.”
