“QUALITY I purchased this tool after it was recommended by Shirley B Eniang. Thank goodness, I received a discount, because this product does not live up to the asking price, nor the level of quality I expect of a Shirley B endorsement. My first impression was disappointment, because it's battery powered instead of plug in, the plastic seams cheap, the battery port seems oddly insecure plus there's wax paper that sticks out of the port; I assume it is protecting something from either water or potential battery leakage. SKIN DAMAGE So far I have only used this product ONCE, because I am now healing from over exfoliation on my forehead. Which is odd because I only used the daily brush on my face. I have combination oily skin, and I have never been sensitive EVER. I used this with Mario Badescu's glycolic acid foaming cleanser, and increased the speed to level 2 for my T-zone, because it's my problem area. My forehead was red and sensitive immediately after rinsing. Granted this was my first time trying the cleanser, but I researched it online before it was recommended to me in-store. WARNING I researched both over exfoliation and glycolic acid burn. And found that dermatologists do recommend using acid cleansers with spin brushes, BUT since my T-zone is the only place harmed, and I used both products all over my entire face, and I only used level 2 on my T-zone, I'm WARNING ALL SKIN TYPES!!! DO NOT USE ON SPEED 2 with an EXFOLIATING CLEANSER or shortly after a chemical peel treatment. YOU WILL either burn the deeper layers of your skin or over exfoliate, or a combination of both. I have extremely thick skin that needs maximum strength everything, and my damage was minimal, but someone else may ruin their entire face. PRICE It may take up to a month for my skin heal, and I don't know if it will be normal or shiny underneath. I have high hope. I would not recommend purchasing this product unless you can get it for $30 or cheaper, unless they improve the quality of the body construction. RECOMMENDATION If you do purchase this product, use only with gentle cleansers or ones you've used several times before.”

“I never had problems with my skin until a few months ago and tried everything under the sun to combat my adult acne. This spin brush has definitely helped to keep my acne in line. I was a bit disappointed that it required regular batteries but it hasn't been a problem. I have used it everyday since I received it and the batteries have needed to be changed yet. I really loving it and can see myself using it well into the future.”
