“We had just moved into our commercial warehouse space, where a previous tenant had big printing machines which were leaking oil on to the concrete floors, possibly for over 15 years. What a mess this tenant left behind, and the smell was bad. However we loved the space and really wanted it to work for us... We tried standard pressure washing 3 times then had someone grind and patch up the floor, removing old paint etc.., but oil stains remained in several areas and even worse the bad odor of oil was still in the air. We tried cleaners such as vinegar and baking soda and pressure washing again and again..which helped, but some stains and odor remained.
We researched the natural microbial approach to this problem on the net, and decided to order 5 gallons of Coverclean. Glad we did. We used it as directed keeping the floor wet for hours as the product worked on the oil. (Unfortunately we didn't think of taking step by step photos, during the process), but let us tell you this stuff works, and you can actually see it working. It appears to go into the concrete surface, lift the oil, then chomp away at it, leaving little residue to pressure wash away. You can literally see the oil turn a lighter color as these little microbs do their job.
Note: This product has a slight bad odor to it while using it, but our guess is that it's the live microbial within it. It goes away fairly quickly, however. Not a big deal.
We highly recommend this product for oil stains on concrete floors, and especially for odor. So far the odor has been under control and its been about a week, since the treatment.
It's also great to know this is an eco-friendly liquid to work with. Well worth the money. So far so good. Thank You”
